My PayPal email is not associated with a PayPal account.
If you received an email that states that:
“This payment could not be completed because the PayPal account you have provided, ‘xxxxxx’, is not associated with a PayPal account. You have possibly made a typo or entered the wrong email address.”
This email can also indicate that an echeck was attempted via PayPal which will result in a pending status until the funds are cleared. If this is your first payment, you will want to double check that your PayPal email is connected to a verified bank account.
- Login to your PayPal account.
- Click on your “Profile” link.
- Click on your “Add/Edit Email” option.
- There should be an option to ‘Confirm’ or ‘verify’ your email address if it hasn’t been done already.
