What if my buyer backs out?
An offer or bid on Audiogon once accepted (or the auction closed) constitutes a binding contract. Thus backing out of a purchase under these conditions is considered a very serious offense. If your buyer is unable or unwilling to follow through with the transaction as agreed via an offer or auction, you may submit negative feedback. The buyer that backs out committing to buy your item, a penalty fee of $19.00 will be charged to the buyers account. Please email support with buyer back out situations.
What happens if I do not pay my transaction fee?
In the event you have outstanding fees older than 30 days, those fees will be charged to the credit card associated with your account on the 3rd of the month. For example on March 3rd, your credit card will be billed for any unpaid fees that are older than 30 days ( January 1st-Feburary 2nd)
Here's how it works:
- As you sell items, we keep track of your fees and add it to your My Bill.
- Once a month, we add outstanding fees older than 30 days and generate an invoice.
- At this time, we notify you of the invoice and that we automatically charge the credit card you have on file.
Your credit card will ONLY be charged if there is a balance owed on your account. If you would prefer to use another form of payment you my visit your My Bill page and manually pay your balance.
